The issue with the current state of universities is corruption.

Everything is based on connections. I refuse to accept this, and at this point I find it hard to get a tenure or tenure-track faculty position.

Also there are lots of politics involved which considering where I live I cannot speak about these freely at the moment. 

Ranging from senior prof. stealing people's research papers, fund applications and etc. 

I hope one day I can share these freely!
